What You’ll Learn
Newborn Care Essentials
Build confidence with everyday newborn care, including diapering, bathing, cord care, safe sleep, feeding, soothing, and understanding baby's cues.
Infant CPR & Choking Response
Practice infant CPR and learn how to recognize and respond if baby is choking.
Infant First Aid
Learn basic infant first aid, what to watch for, and when to seek medical care.
Feeding & Breastfeeding
Explore newborn feeding basics and hunger and fullness cues, with positioning, latch, pumping, bottle feeding, and common early breastfeeding challenges included in the complete class.
Hands-On Practice at Home
Practice essential newborn care and emergency response skills with guidance from a Palmetto Baby Care nurse in the environment where you'll actually be caring for baby.

Private Newborn Care, CPR & First Aid | $1,500
Approximately 3 hours of private, hands-on instruction for up to 6 participants.
Complete Private New Parent Class | $1,800
Approximately 4 hours of private instruction for up to 6 participants, including Newborn Care, CPR, First Aid, and Breastfeeding Basics.

Additional participants may be added for $150 per person.
