1-Hour Class

Feel more confident as you begin your breastfeeding journey.

This 1-hour class is designed to help expecting and new parents feel more prepared for the first days of breastfeeding with practical, supportive education in a welcoming setting.

Led by a Palmetto Baby Care nurse, you'll learn positioning and latch basics, feeding cues, typical newborn feeding patterns, signs baby is getting enough milk, pumping and bottle-feeding basics, common early challenges, and when to seek additional lactation support.

You'll also have time to ask questions and leave with greater confidence as you begin breastfeeding your baby.

Join us for a supportive, nurse-led group class designed to help you feel more confident and prepared for breastfeeding.

Group classes are offered one Tuesday and one Saturday each month.

Price of Class: $100

Already attending Newborn Care, CPR & First Aid? Add Breastfeeding Basics for $75 and attend both classes back-to-back for the complete 4-hour experience for $275.
