Hi, I am Elizabeth Anne, founder of Palmetto Baby Care, registered nurse, and mom of three.

If you are reading this with a brand new baby in your arms, or one on the way, I want you to know something: you were never meant to do this part alone. The first weeks at home are tender and beautiful, and they can also feel really lonely at 2am. That is exactly why Palmetto Baby Care exists.

I started my nursing career in the ICU, caring for patients at Level I and II Trauma Centers in Georgia and South Carolina. Along the way I became a mom, and everything shifted. Holding my own babies gave me a whole new heart for new families, and it led me to mother baby nursing at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital, where I fell in love with walking beside families through those first days. I also serve as a birth assistant at Charleston Birth Place in Mount Pleasant, so my work with new families starts even before babies come home.

As a mom of three little ones, I know what it is to love your baby fiercely and still dream about sleep. I know the questions that pop into your head in the middle of the night, and the relief of having someone kind and capable say, I have got this, you rest.

That is the heart of Palmetto Baby Care. I lead a team of experienced nurses who come into your home so you can recover, bond with your baby, and actually enjoy this sweet, fleeting season. My hope for every mom we serve is a postpartum that feels positive, supported, and even joyful. You deserve to feel cared for while you care for your baby.

When I am not with our families, you will find me soaking up time with my own three little ones: morning walks under the oaks at Hampton Park, Saturdays at the farmers market, beach days on Sullivan's Island, and plenty of wide eyed wonder at the Aquarium. Charleston is home, and raising my babies here is one of my greatest joys.
